Puck Control

Last Monday was a very good session! We learned about hockey sticks, puck control and shooting. It was nice to see some immediate improvement!!! Next week, we will continue with Puck Control & Passing. The 'Agains' will also focus on Passing Drills.

I highly recommend practicing puck control 'off ice' in order to improve your 'feel' for the puck. The new hockey balls should arrive soon. But, you can use any type of ball for now.

Announcement: The 'Agains' were 'short changed' on ice time this past Monday. We do have that Ice Slot until 9:45. So, from here on out, once we finish our Drills, we will put the reamining time on the clock and play it out. So, basically, just one LONG period.

#2 - A WINNER goes through a problem; a loser goes around it and never gets past it.

Never Ever Party 8/25

To: All Never Ever's & Never Ever Again's

Here is your 'official' invitation. Some of you have already responded via email so, you don't have to respond again. Others can just hit 'reply' and let me know if you are planning on coming or not. It's very important that I have some idea of 'head count' so, I can have plenty of food and beverages available - at a reasonable cost!

Once I determine the cost, I will let you know and you can pay at the 'door'. The food will be catered in. The beverages will include soda, several domestic beers, and Wine Coolers.

Activities include: Corn Hole, Ring ??, ATV Rides, Poker, Music, Hockey movies, Hockey memorabilia type stuff, Brain Teasers, Bon Fire, and the normal gossip & chatter that goes along with a hockey party!

You can begin arriving around 4:30. Food will be available around 5:30 or so. The food will be hot. All beverages will be ice cold! So, the only thing you need to bring is chairs for yourselves.

We live 2 miles East of Gene Snyder on Taylorsville Rd. So, head East and go through the light (Taylorsville Lake Rd). We are the 4th house on the right just past Five O-Clock Charlies. Go past our house to the Fisherville Baptist Church (on right) to park your vehicle. Walk across the yard to our place.
