1st Game

Session 1 got off to a great start – this is going to be an exciting & entertaining session!!!
We have named the Captains for the respective teams:
· Derrick Page – Never’s (Blue)
· Chuck Kinslow – Ever’s (White)
Congratulations to Chuck & Derrick! Both have displayed ‘leadership’ qualities. And the coaching staff looks forward to working with both of you throughout this session.
Both Captains are seeking Asst. Captains (1 or 2 per team). Derrick & Chuck will be providing the coaching staff with suggestions over the next few weeks. So, anyone interested, please ‘step up’ and display your leadership qualities and we will make an announcement soon.
Chalk Talks – in case you haven’t noticed, I really enjoy these! But, I would like to see better attendance. With the later ice slot, I would think most of you can arrive a few minutes early to attend these. I have several ‘issues’ to discuss next Monday so, please try to be dressed and ready by 9:10pm. Thanks!
Bocce’s – we had excellent attendance after the session – and they really appreciate it!
‘2nd Never – Ever Cup Game’ – This will NOT be on sat. Dec. 15 as there is no ice available for hockey that weekend. I need to discuss this with Rob – but, we could hold the Cup Game on Monday, Dec 17th @ around 6:30 PM – on the South Rink. The North Rink is not available. This would extend this Session to 11 weeks. And, give us an earlier time slot for the Cup Game. More details to follow so, be prompt next Monday for the Chalk Talk!
Also, I am seeking 5 – 6 players to participate in a Hockey Game against Indianapolis on Nov 3rd @ Iceland with a return game sometime in January. I will provide FULL details next Monday during the Chalk Talk. They is C- level hockey with no slap shots or physical play – It’s all for fun! They don’t take there hockey very serious. I have known these players for years and we typically have a home and home series with them every year.
